We recently hosted a panel, "Authentic Leadership" at Autodesk’s Denver office!
Our panelists, Jennifer Argiro, Molly McKinstry, Christine Lavery and Katie Capuzzo (WISE) shared tips for growing in leadership and milestones along their career journeys.
Here are some key takeaways to guide you in your professional journey.
Know your core values.
Take time to reflect on the principles you value and any commonalities between them. Consider strengths that come naturally and ones you've gained over time. By defining your unique set of core values you have a guide for future decision-making and career pathing.
Build your network.
Be it mentorship, a board of directors, or peer group, creating intentional relationships now will serve your career long-term. Interested in pivoting to a new role? Grab a coffee with someone already in that position to learn more. Admire someone at work? Ask if they'd be willing to be a mentor or if they can recommend someone. Go into those convos with a clear ask and confidence in yourself.
More journeys from women leaders await at Journey Untold, a WISE podcast.
Thank you to all our WISE partners who made this event possible and our panelists for sharing their time and advice.
