In this workshop, Marin shared the myths that steal thousands from our bank accounts and the money secrets we should all know about.

4 Money Myths

  1. It’s always smarter to save
  2. It’s selfish to spend on yourself
  3. “Better to be safe than sorry”
  4. “I’ll feel safe once I have”

4 Money Secrets

  1. It’s always smarter to know
  2. It’s essential to spend on yourself
  3. Trust your safety net
  4. Safety is 90% mindset

How to find $10,000 dollars by asking yourself a few questions:

  1. What feelings do you have about money? What patterns have you adopted?
  2. What expense surprises you? What is it and how much does it cost per year?
  3. What expense makes you happy? What is it and how much does it cost per year?
  4. What aren’t you counting? Ex: Safety net, home you have equity in, etc.

The goal isn’t to stop spending money. It’s about having an awareness of the full picture and creating space for what you truly value. If we are running in a mode of scarcity, it's easy to create fear stories that lead to avoidance. Having the knowledge of where your money is going and prioritizing what you value is empowering and helps support a well fulfilled life.

If you want to feel confident, abundant, and joyfully decisive with your money instead of stressed, overwhelmed, and stuck in a mind-trap that limits your ability to have more cash, reach out to Marin.
