Robin is an accomplished sales leader and joined the WISE community this year.

What’s the most rewarding part of being a sales leader?

For me, the reward is two-fold.  I love solving problems, so when a customer gives me positive feedback on a solution we created together – that is golden. Second, the relationships I have built during my career are so rewarding. From clients, to partners, to colleagues, to sales peers – all are invaluable to me.

What’s that one book you’d recommend every woman in sales read?

This is a tough one, because I am a reader. I mean, I read everything! There is one that I return to time and again. Whenever I change roles or have a new product to sell, I buy a new copy of the Spin Selling Fieldbook and put myself through the paces. I have modernized the way I develop questions based on my experience, but this helps reset the discovery fundamentals for me.

Why is a community like WISE important to you?

Having had the privilege of attending an all-girls secondary school, I learned early on that the best way to amplify women’s impact is to band together and support each other. WISE has been an invaluable resource to me in both networking, information, events, and general support.
