WISE Member of the Month: June 2022

Each month, WISE selects a member of the community to share their sales knowledge and story. We are excited to announce Shobha Kansal as our June 2022 Member of the Month!

Shobha is currently an Associate Director, eCommerce at The Kraft Heinz Company and joined the WISE community in 2021.

What motivates you to take on the day?

Being able to pour from a full cup ensures that I am able to be there for myself, my loved ones, and my work circles. I like to begin the day by meditating and exercising. Prioritizing my physical and mental health gives me the energy to focus.

What's the best professional advice you ever received?

Focus on your strengths versus obsessing over your weaknesses. Too often performance reviews focus on what you can do to work on opportunity areas; however, my goal is to ensure that the majority of my brain space is focused on seeking out opportunities to leverage strengths for myself and the teams with whom I work.

What is your favorite part of your WISE membership?

The women who are a part of the WISE network are truly special, and it’s been such an honor to connect with them across different forums. No matter what, I always leave WISE sessions feeling like a weight has been lifted off. It is very fulfilling to be able to be in company with so many brilliant women in sales.
