Each month, WISE selects a member of the community to share their sales knowledge and story. We are excited to announce Josephine Roth as our May 2024 Member of the Month! She joined the WISE community in 2023.
What are your favorite aspects of a WISE membership?
Definitely the organic community of women across all types of sales roles and management levels. I've made some great connections through the Slack channel, Quarterly Pods and in person events that have expanded my perspective of different paths within the sales profession and been a great resource as I continue to grow my career and think about what success looks like. I also met my professional coach through the WISE network, who has been an incredible support system and keeps me accountable towards my goals.
What is your go-to weekend activity in NYC?
I love to hang out with my friends and try new restaurants. I'm so lucky to live in such a diverse city and try to take advantage of everything it has to offer - a recent favorite spot is Shoo Shoo in Nolita. Incredible Mediterranean food.
Are you reading or listening to anything particularly interesting right now?
I'm a huge fan of the Daily podcast, I think they do a great job exploring specific and relevant issues. On a more fun note, I'm absolutely loving Beyonce's new album, Cowboy Carter - it has definitely been on repeat.
