Each month, WISE selects a member of the community to share their sales knowledge and story. We are excited to announce Samantha Hietsch as our November 2022 Member of the Month!
Samantha is currently working as Corporate Sales Director at SetSail and joined the WISE community in 2022.
What does being a WISE member mean to you?
Being a WISE member has been extremely impactful for me in my career growth. Being a member to me means being in an amazing support system, networking with peers, learning from others on the ins and outs of the GTM world, and helping support others in their own career journeys as well as finding support for my own.
What are your goals for the end of this year?
Close out the year strong! I’m also trying to ensure a strong pipeline for Q1 of at least ten viable opportunities that are a bit farther along in the pipeline by EOY.
What advice would you give to women entering sales?
It’s not so much about where you have been, but most so where you want to go. Do not wait around for anyone to tell you what success looks like. Push forward and find ways for your own success. Brainstorm with people along the way (not just people in sales, mind you), ask for (and apply) feedback, self-reflect on your efforts, and always be looking to learn from anyone and everyone around you.
