WISE Member of the Month: October 2022

Each month, WISE selects a member of the community to share their sales knowledge and story. We are excited to announce  Olivia Cole as our October 2022 Member of the Month!

Olivia is currently working as Sales Manager, Talent Advisory at CloserIQ and joined the WISE community in 2022.

What is your favorite part of being a WISE member?

Building my network and learning from incredibly smart women. In a remote work environment, I made it an initiative in 2022 to build my network and create connections across the technology space. WISE has been the most welcoming avenue to accomplish that - every woman I’ve come across is open to conversations, questions, and advice. I’ve met a great mentor (shoutout to Hillary Unis), found an exciting leadership pod, and attended wonderful events and panels. WISE has helped me grow my network and learn from others to develop as a leader, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

How do you like to spend your Fall days?

Right now, running! I’m training for my first half marathon, so my days are filled with long runs, hanging out with friends, and watching football (let’s go, Giants!).

Who is your role model?

It’s cliche, but my Mom. When I was a young child, my dad was deployed for 9 months to Kuwait. During this time, with two young children, she completed her nursing degree and began her new career. Fast forward to her 50s she has reinvented her career again, going back to school to become a Professor of Nursing. Last spring, I had the opportunity to watch her speak at her students' graduation ceremony, and seeing the admiration her students have for her was an incredible moment. She continues to push herself, to dream bigger, and to make those dreams a reality. I may be biased, but she is the best!
