Each month, WISE selects a member of the community to share their sales knowledge and story. We are excited to announce  Alanna Raymond as our September 2022 Member of the Month!

Alanna is currently working as Senior Product Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement at Carbon and joined the WISE community in 2022.

What motivates you to take on the day?

My goal everyday is simple: “create new”. On any given week I’ll publish a learning path, send out the latest product training deck, take a necessary mental health break or paint yet another piece of art for my apartment. All of this establishes a monthly motivational loop. Daily hustle culture can be draining. It’s okay not to be motivated one day and hyper accomplished the next.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?

It’s rewarding creating solutions to help others succeed. Aligning all segments to a Sales Enablement strategy made gathering the analytics payoff – proving the training, content, or battle card you created gave the sales rep exactly what they needed to close a deal. Attribution can be wildly validating.

Favorite part of the WISE membership?

The best part about becoming a WISE member is all the inspiring leaders I’ve met through webinars, Slack, and the community. It’s phenomenally refreshing to hear other’s experiences mirror your own. Put as much in as you take away and you’ll definitely love it too!
